Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter for interior construction projects throughout the Corpus Christi / Coastal Bend area. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with metal stud framing, ceiling grid systems, and door frame installation. Steady work available for dependable professionals.
Responsibilities
- Metal stud framing (commercial interiors)
- Assist with and install suspended ceiling grid systems
- Install hollow metal and wood door frames
- Interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
- Work independently and as part of a crew
Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial carpenter or framing carpenter
- Skilled in metal stud framing
- Familiarity with ceiling grid installation and door frames
- Must have own hand and power tools
- Must have reliable transportation to multiple job sites
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, climbing)
Preferred
- Commercial construction experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
