Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an Outbound Inside Sales Representative for a large HVAC company in Lewisville, TX. This individual is responsible for proactively reaching out to prospective and existing customers by phone, email, and other channels to generate business, sell HVAC / heating / air conditioning / related services, keep the customer base engaged, and help grow revenue while maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction. This role is based in a call-center environment, working closely with Sales, Service, and Customer Support teams.
Pay Structure: $17/hr + Weekly bonuses based on performance
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential customers, follow up on leads, promotions, and past inquiries to generate service, repair, maintenance, or installation appointments.
- Reach out to existing customers to promote upsells (e.g. maintenance plans, service agreements, new equipment, add-ons).
- Explain the services, promotions, and specials offered by A#1 Air, including discounts.
- Answer basic questions about services during calls; if needed, route more technical questions to more specialized staff.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions: log calls, outcomes, appointments in the company CRM.
- Meet or exceed daily / weekly / monthly activity and sales goals (number of calls, appointments set, revenue targets).
- Handle objection management, negotiate or work through customer hesitations, and close sale or appointment setting.
- Work collaboratively with field technicians, dispatch, and service team to ensure smooth scheduling and customer experience.
- Keep up to date on product/service offerings, promotions, pricing, and competitor services.
- Potentially follow up after service completion to ensure satisfaction or generate referrals.
Qualifications / Skills
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or outbound calling; HVAC or service-industry experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Comfortable making a large number of outbound calls per day.
- Good listening skills; ability to understand customer needs and match them with the right service / product.
- Basic negotiation skills and ability to overcome objections.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively; stay organized (managing leads, follow-ups, etc.).
- Positive, professional demeanor; able to work under pressure and maintain energy / motivation.
- Typing skills and computer literacy; experience with CRMs is a plus.
