Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking reliable General Laborers/Assemblers to join a team in Ponder, TX that designs and builds prefabricated metal shelters & cabinets. This role involves hands-on work, including assembly, material handling, and general warehouse tasks.
Pay: $17/hr
Schedule: 6:00a-4:30p
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble metal shelters according to specifications.
- Safely transport assembled shelters and components throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately read and interpret tape measurements for assembly tasks.
- Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills) to complete assembly work.
- Perform general labor duties, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their proper use.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Some construction experience preferred.
- Previous experience in assembly or warehouse work is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
- Indoor warehouse setting.
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
