Industrial Painter/Prep Technician (Temp-to-Hire)
Ponder, TX

Pay: 90 day temp to hire pay: $18/hr with raise once hired with client
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is seeking a reliable Industrial Painter / Prep Technician for a manufacturing client in Ponder, TX. This individual would be responsible for preparing, sanding, and painting doors in a painting booth, allowing the technician to work independently while supporting overall production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial painting or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently in a designated work area
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare doors for painting through sanding and surface preparation
- Paint doors according to job orders and production specifications
- Ensure consistent coverage, finish quality, and adherence to color and specification requirements
- Complete required production volumes in a timely manner
- Inspect painted doors for defects, touch-ups, and overall finish quality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to maneuver and rotate doors weighing up to 100 lbs with equipment assistance
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
