Job Title: Material Handler
Pay: Up to $19.00/hr
Schedule: 7pm-4pm M-F
Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform general material handling duties, including organizing and staging inventory
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operation experience required
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
