Medical Equipment Technician - $15.00/HOUR
A local company needs a Medical Equipment Technician. A Medical Equipment Technician inspects, calibrates, tests, and repairs medical equipment to ensure it is safe and functional for patient care. Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, keeping detailed maintenance records, training medical staff on equipment use, and staying updated on new medical technologies.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of medical devices to prevent malfunctions.
- Calibration & Testing: Verify that equipment operates correctly and safely by performing diagnostics and calibration procedures.
- Repairs: Troubleshoot and fix issues with electronic, electromechanical, and hydraulic equipment, replacing or adjusting parts as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance and repair activities, including service parts inventory.
- Installation: Assist with the setup and installation of new medical equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
