Customer Service Representative - $16.00/HOUR

A local roofing company needs a Customer Service Representative! The 

Roofing Customer Service Representative (CSR) handles client inquiries, schedules appointments, coordinates with field technicians, and resolves issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities include managing customer information, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of roofing products and services, processing service requests, and providing professional, empathetic communication. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to act as a vital link between customers and the company's operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support:

Answer customer calls and emails, address inquiries about products and services, and provide helpful information and guidance. 

  • Appointment & Service Coordination:

Schedule service appointments and coordinate with field technicians by managing job details, client requirements, and service updates. 

  • Issue Resolution:

Identify and resolve customer complaints, find solutions, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

  • Software & Data Management:

Utilize CRM and scheduling software to accurately enter customer data, track service requests, and maintain accurate records. 

  • Communication:

Maintain clear, professional, and empathetic communication with customers and internal teams, including technical and sales departments. 

Key Skills

  • Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and internal staff. 

  • Customer Service:

A strong focus on customer satisfaction, empathy, and conflict resolution is critical for this role. 

  • Organization:

Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to handle multiple tasks, appointments, and customer requests efficiently. 

  • Problem-Solving:

The ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and suggest effective solutions is vital. 

  • Technical Aptitude:

A good understanding of roofing products and the ability to learn and use company software are often required.
