for an HR Assistant
M-F 8am-5pm @ $20.00
Duties include:
- To maintain personnel training and development files, perform evaluation of effectiveness assessment, and ensure compliance with state training log requirements.
- To collect and keep job applications on a regular basis.
- Conduct applicant reference checks.
- Maintain timekeeping and PTO records and prepare payroll reports.
- Prepare monthly timekeeping reports as needed for the production department.
- Work with the production department to prepare production employee schedule and distribute schedule.
- To follow up and assist the orientation program for new employees.
- To compile new hire documents and prepare personnel files.
- Assist employees with employee portal.
- To perform duties about personnel, administrative affairs and industrial relations.
- To follow up and take actions in order to fulfill OHSA requirements.
- To complete all additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Some college with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge is an asset.
- To have knowledge of Industrial Relations, Occupational Health & Safety and basic legal practices.
- To have knowledge of personnel and payroll processes.
- Customer service driven.
- Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
