Maintenance Helper/Welder - $22.50/HOUR
A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs a Maintenance Helper/Welder with welding experience to assist in maintaining and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to support maintenance technicians in keeping operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Assist with facility maintenance projects, including repairs and installations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Respond to maintenance requests and support production needs.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred.
- Welding experience required (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding preferred).
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment repair.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
