Manual / CNC Machinist (Setup + Print Reading) – $25/hr – Fort Worth
A manufacturing company in Fort Worth is seeking a hands-on machinist to join their 1st shift team. This is a small shop environment where you will be working directly with parts—not just operating machines.
We are NOT looking for a trainee. We need someone who can read a print and turn it into a finished part with minimal supervision.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Up to $25/hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders
- Perform setups, edge finding, and basic tool selection
- Read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Support shop operations around CNC machines (no programming required)
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of real shop experience (not just schooling or training programs)
- Ability to read prints and work independently
- Experience setting up jobs and selecting tooling
- Familiarity with manual machines (Bridgeport, engine lathe, etc.)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
