We have a metals company that is seeking an overhead crane operator.
The schedule is 7:00am-4pm for the day shift; the night shift is from 4pm to 12am.

Description:
Under the direction of the supervisor or his appointed lead person, operates a double-hoist overhead crane to load and unload steel products.
Responsibilities:
- Understands and performs all functions associated with the operation of the double hoist overhead crane.
- Performs daily inspection and reports any repairs needed to maintenance.
- Uses and understands measuring instruments…tape measure and micrometer.
- Receives and checks material for grade, thickness, and size. Color codes material per procedure.
Requirements:
- 2 years of prior experience operating the overhead crane.
- Must be able to read, write, have knowledge of basic mathematics and read a tape measure.
- In-house crane certification required
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime when needed.
- Knowledge of steel is a plus but not necessary.
Pay is $21 an hour.
