Job Title: Package Operator (Polyethylene Experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Package Operator with experience in handling and operating polyethylene packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of packaging machinery, maintaining quality control, and ensuring safe and timely product packaging. This role involves monitoring the entire packaging process, from machine setup to final product inspection, while ensuring that all products meet established specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate polyethylene packaging machines (e.g., extruders, form-fill-seal machines) to package products.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the quality of products throughout the packaging process, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines, ensuring they are running efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine checks on packaging materials, ensuring the correct polyethylene film, labels, and other packaging components are being used.
- Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, machine performance, and any issues encountered during the shift.
- Inspect finished packaged products to ensure they are properly sealed and labeled.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate any production or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals and timelines.
- Ensure that any deviations from production plans or quality standards are promptly addressed.
- Assist in training new operators or other team members on machine operation and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating polyethylene packaging equipment or related machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in packaging operations is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of polyethylene film, extrusion processes, and packaging machinery.
