Job Full Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! The perfect candidates will be experienced customer service professionals skilled in order management, technical support, vendor coordination, and client communication, with a strong background in industrial or mechanical environments.
Responsibilities & Expectations:

Manage incoming customer orders and inquiries, providing both purchasing and service support.

Serve as a technical resource to resolve customer questions and issues as needed.

Support the outside sales team and OEM partners with quoting, vendor coordination, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Handle all aspects of order processing, including entry, issue resolution, and follow-up.

Align customer service efforts with distribution and operational goals.

Coordinate customer communications, track and expedite shipments, and assist with inventory oversight.

Prepare special pricing quotes and bids in collaboration with sales staff; work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Availability for occasional evening or weekend support in critical situations.
Qualifications & Competencies:
-
2+ years of experience in customer service, technical sales, purchasing, or a related role preferred.

Experience in the electrical or mechanical industry is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to interpret data and take prompt, appropriate action.

Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong prioritization abilities.

Effective time management and multitasking skills.

Capable of clearly communicating technical information, both verbally and in writing.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

SCMP designation is an asset.
