Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialists to join our candidate pool for upcoming opportunities with top local companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounts payable and receivable duties, including creating invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts
- Communicate professionally with clients and vendors to resolve billing questions or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records by entering data, generating reports, and supporting month-end close activities
- Ensure timely payment processing and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support the company’s accounting team with additional tasks such as filing, statement preparation, and audit assistance
- Represent Express Employment Professionals with professionalism and reliability while on assignment
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — for working with vendors, customers, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
