Job Full Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Key point of contact for national suppliers.
· Responsible for measuring contract compliance. This includes evaluating client program spend as well as Supplier performance.
· Track and manage any Indirect Spend supplier spend and Savings.
· Prepare reports on indirect spending activities and deliver presentations to executive management as needed.
· Manage data regarding department’s activities and performance relative to budget expectations.
· Work with appropriate departments and individuals within the organization to measure and track indirect spending by program category.
· Other duties as assigned by company management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
· 2-3 years Indirect Spend or related field
COMPETENCIES
· Strong written & verbal communication skills, organization, negotiation, and market analysis skills.
· Tech-savvy including Microsoft Office suite.
· Working knowledge and/or background in purchasing, logistics and inventory management in the indirect spend industry
· Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
· Strong negotiation skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to execute plans/projects through others
· Strong analytical skills to interpret data and analyze trends
· Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
