Summary/Objective
The Core Clerk is an entry level position for a highly motivated and hardworking individual with a desire to learn about the aviation trade through disassembling aircraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Gain experience disassembling aircraft while working with a licensed aircraft mechanic
• Perform general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment
• Perform work with basic hand tools as well as power tools
• Properly identify removed parts and put them into inventory electronically
• Assist in loading or moving materials and products
• Physically locate parts in the warehouse
• Maintain regular and punctual work attendance
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment • 1 to 2 years of mechanical experience • Valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Ability to work with basic tools
• Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities within time constraints
• Ability to work at various heights
• Ability to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, overhead reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, etc. on a constant and repetitive basis during the work day. The employee must be able to work skillfully with both hands constantly. The employee must be able to speak, see, hear within normal range. The employee must frequently lift, carry, grasp, and/or move items up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility. The employee must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including excessive heat and cold and adhere to all company safety requirements. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work • This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. • Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
• Candidate must be able to work overtime on a regular basis and/or be on call as directed by management. This will include an emergency 24 hour on call rotation
