Job Full Description

An Industrial Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs industrial machinery and equipment. This includes troubleshooting, repairing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with developing maintenance plans. They work in various industries, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing and processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing issues with industrial machinery, including electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Installation and Assembly: Assembling, installing, and setting up new equipment and machinery.
Reading Manuals and Schematics: Understanding equipment manuals and technical drawings to diagnose and repair problems.
Welding and Fabrication: Using welding and fabrication skills to repair or modify equipment.
Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaboration: Working with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
