A Yard Technician is responsible for maintaining the rental yard and equipment, including inspecting, cleaning, and assisting with routine maintenance. They also handle documentation, loading/unloading, and inventory management. Additionally, they ensure a safe and hazard-free environment and uphold customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Inspection and Documentation: Inspecting equipment before and after use, documenting its condition, and maintaining inventory records.
Routine Maintenance and Cleaning: Assisting with routine maintenance tasks, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the yard and shop are kept tidy.
Loading and Unloading: Demonstrating proper loading and unloading procedures for equipment.
Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of equipment inventory.
Safety and Housekeeping: Ensuring a safe and hazard-free work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and upholding the company's standards.
General Yard Maintenance: Assisting with various tasks to maintain the overall upkeep of the yard.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods,
Equipment Knowledge: Understanding of construction equipment and basic maintenance procedures is helpful.
Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document equipment condition and inventory.
Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers professionally and provide excellent service.
Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures.
Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
