Job Summary:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high-speed, large-scale automated assembly machines. This role includes performing complex repairs, major adjustments, routine maintenance, and quality inspections to ensure smooth production and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain assigned assembly machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform tooling adjustments, set-ups, and changeovers.
- Conduct quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and document measurements per print specifications.
- Identify and resolve machine faults, clear jams, and restart production as needed.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine maintenance.
- Replace components such as sensors, punches, dies, air cylinders, belts, and other parts as required.
- Adjust housing feed and other machine settings to maintain production standards.
- Utilize height indicators, gauges, ram optics, and microscopic visual checks for precise measurements.
- Package finished products following production procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with automated assembly equipment preferred.
- Ability to perform mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Capable of following detailed instructions and quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle parts and tools as required.
- Must be able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
