Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker for a client in Katy, TX. This position is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders in a warehouse environment using RF scanning technology. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick materials using RF scanning devices
- Separate, stage, and organize orders for packer verification
- Verify part numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy
- Perform basic math calculations (addition and subtraction) to confirm order counts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
- Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to work the full scheduled shift and overtime as needed
Dress Code & PPE
- Pants or shorts must have belt loops
- Steel-toe boots required
