Kilgore, TX manufacturer currently seeking Sr. Welding Tech. Great company offering competitive salary and benefits. This is a day shift position 6am-2:30pm with some overtime. Starting pay $22/hr.
DUTIES AND TASKS:
* Read Blueprints proficiently and accurately hand fit medium to large structural weldments
* Use torch, grinder, and various hand tool for fitting and welding large to medium size steel weldments
* Be able to weld in all positions proficiently
* Keep work area and tools organized and professional. Keep safety and cleanliness a top priority.
* Pass our weld test
* b. Steel welding position
* WPS 943-0004 - Vertical Uphill 3G with FCAW
* WPS 943-0030 - Horizontal Fillet with GMAW-S
* WPS 943-0009 - Horizontal Fillet 2F with GMAW-Pulse Arc
