Express Employment Professionals of Longview are currently seeking a Brazier for a manufacturing company in Longview. The start pay is $14-15/hr. DOE Regular schedule is Monday thru Friday 6am-2pm, must be available for possible overtime to work nights.
Job Summary
The Brazier is responsible for assembling and joining metal components using brazing techniques to produce high-quality coils (such as HVAC, refrigeration, or heat exchanger coils). This role ensures all joints meet strength, leak-proof, and quality standards while maintaining production efficiency and safety.
- Key Responsibilities
* Perform brazing operations on copper, aluminum, or steel components used in coil assemblies
* Assemble coils, headers, and tubing according to blueprints and work instructions
* Use torches and appropriate filler materials to create strong, leak-free joints
* Inspect finished brazed joints for quality, strength, and defects
* Conduct or assist with pressure and leak testing of coils
* Maintain proper torch setup, gas flow, and safety procedures
* Follow all OSHA and company safety standards, especially regarding open flame and gases
* Keep work area clean and organized (5S standards)
* Meet daily production goals and maintain consistent quality
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Experience with brazing, soldering, or welding (manufacturing environment preferred)
* Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
* Knowledge of metals such as copper and aluminum tubing
* Familiarity with HVAC or coil manufacturing is a plus
* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for long periods
* Lift up to 25–50 lbs. as needed
