About the Position:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process utility payments via cash, check, credit/debit card, and online systems
- Reconcile daily transactions and prepare financial reports
- Maintain accurate payment records and account balances
- Assist customers with billing questions, account inquiries, and service requests
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and phone support
- Follow city policies and ensure compliance with financial procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in cash handling, customer service, or related field preferred
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with strong organizational and time management skills
