Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate – Electrical Supply
Express Employment Professionals – Longview is hiring a Counter Sales/ Warehouse Associate for a local electrical supply company. This role combines customer service, technical product support, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Order Processing — Handle walk-in, phone, and email orders using POS/ERP systems.
- Technical Product Support — Assist customers with electrical material selection and alternatives.
- Counter & Showroom Upkeep — Keep sales areas clean, stocked, and organized.
- Receiving & Stocking — Unload, verify, and stock incoming materials.
- Order Fulfillment — Pick, pack, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery.
- Inventory Management — Perform stock checks and maintain organized inventory.
- Equipment Operation — Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and wire-cutting tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of electrical materials (wire, conduit, lighting, switchgear) preferred.
- Basic computer and POS skills.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
- Experience in electrical wholesale or retail.
