Manual Pin Operator
Express Employment Professionals of Longview is currently hiring a Manual Pin Operator for a leading manufacturing company serving the medical industry. This position is responsible for working with raw materials such as stainless steel, alloys, and titanium, as well as manufactured components and subassemblies, to produce precision small parts used in medical applications. Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Must be available to work until 5:00 PM for overtime as required.
Pay Rate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cut raw materials to required specifications.
- Apply trocar points to various pin sizes while maintaining minimal scrap rates.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment, including scales, optical comparators, and calipers, to verify product accuracy and quality.
- Operate lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, polishing equipment, and packaging machinery to produce finished products.
- Load, operate, and unload grinding equipment while minimizing material waste and scrap.
- Operate a variety of production equipment to manufacture pins and wires that meet production targets and company goals.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Inventory and track parts, tools, and materials used throughout the production process.
- Test finished products for defects and ensure specifications are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and optical comparators.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to visually inspect small components and identify defects.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate various manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
