Location: Longview, TX
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Band Saw Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a horizontal band saw to cut steel products according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with steel materials and operating material-handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a horizontal band saw to cut steel products to customer specifications.
• Read and follow work orders and cutting requirements.
• Move and position steel material using an overhead crane and forklift.
• Inspect materials and completed cuts for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to read measurements and follow specifications.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
