Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced AR/AP Accounting Administrator on behalf of our client in Kilgore, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to join a growing organization.
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable, including:
- Record expense invoices, PO receipts, vendor credits, and employee expense reports with proper pricing, terms, and GL coding in the company ERP system.
- Generate purchase orders.
- Set up and maintain vendor records in the ERP system.
- Communicate, interface, and build strong relationships with vendors and employees.
- Provide expense/vendor analysis and miscellaneous reports for monthly accruals.
- Provide Accounts Receivable assistance, including:
- Assist with customer invoicing for all services provided, from generation of field tickets through invoicing.
- Work with customer invoicing platforms as required.
- Assist Sales and Account Managers with managing and obtaining field ticket signatures.
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and record related journal entries as required.
- Perform other Accounting, Finance, and Administrative duties as needed, including providing backup support for HR Administration.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online Advanced is a plus.
- Experience with customer billing platforms, such as OpenInvoice, is a plus.
