Accounting Manager / Bookkeeper

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour to start, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexibility available)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting operations and support the company's financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, along with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Handle job costing and track project-related expenses.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for the company's tax accountant.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting and other accounting duties as needed.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
- Experience with payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and job costing.
- Ability to complete financial closing procedures and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting responsibilities.
