Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:55 AM–5:00 PM
Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for assisting customers, recommending products, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Answer questions about products, pricing, and store policies.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and selecting products.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process purchases, payments, and returns.
- Address customer concerns professionally and refer complex issues to management.
- Restock merchandise, organize shelves, tag products, and maintain promotional displays.
- Keep the sales floor, checkout area, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Follow inventory control, loss prevention, and store safety procedures.
- Work cooperatively with team members and assist in other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and time management.
- Comfortable using computers, scanners, and POS systems.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
- Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
