Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient automotive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections)
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts (engines, transmissions, suspension, exhaust, etc.)
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems
- Test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow safety procedures and shop standards
- Communicate clearly with service advisors or customers regarding findings and repairs
- Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and in good condition
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- ASE Certification(s)
- Experience with diagnostic scanners and computerized systems
- Ability to work on multiple vehicle makes and models
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Customer-service mindset
