Customer Service Representative – Dry Cleaners
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate: $14/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and half-day Saturdays (on rotation)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team at a local dry-cleaning business. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle front-counter operations, and ensure customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- Receive and tag incoming garments for cleaning or alteration
- Retrieve completed orders for customers
- Handle payments and issue receipts accurately
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions or order status updates
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter area
- Communicate effectively with production staff regarding special instructions or customer requests
- Assist with general store upkeep and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
