Job Title: Jr Project Manager
Shift - 8am-5pm
Pay:$21.63/hr -$28.85/hr
Location: Balch Springs

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to Assist in the oversight and coordination of projects from inception to completion. This role requires effective communication, Organized/efficient computer skills and collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Responsible for management of all aspects of multiple mechanical construction projects. Projects vary in scope and disciplines. *Bilingual is a plus*
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in reviewing project documents, estimates, and contracts to understand scope and schedule
- Support procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontracted services
- Help prepare purchase orders and track deliveries
- Assist in drafting proposal requests and supporting subcontract evaluations
- Organize and track submittals, shop drawings, and approvals
- Coordinate submittals and drawings with architects, engineers, and clients
- Help prepare billing documentation and schedules of values
- Support change order estimates and documentation
- Attend meetings to take notes and stay updated on project progress
- Coordinate with field staff to clarify scope and help generate RFIs when needed
- Assist with monthly billing and client communications
- Begin building relationships with clients and subcontractors for future work opportunities
Experience
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of various mechanical systems is a plus
• HVAC experience/knowledge is a plus
• Computer skills including MS Office (Excel and Word), Adobe Acrobat
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A.S. or B.A in Construction Management is a plus
