Job Title: Assembly Helper (Mechanically Inclined)
Location: Sunnyvale TX
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Assembly Helper to support the production of industrial equipment used in the concrete industry. This role involves hands-on assembly of steel components, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assembling large-scale steel equipment and machinery
- Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten, and align components
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or assembly instructions
- Support welders, machinists, and technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform basic quality checks on assembled parts
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial assembly is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
