Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay: $20/hr – $23/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

For over 50 years, our company has been a trusted name in the commercial BBQ industry, specializing in the design and fabrication of high-quality grills and smokers for BBQ restaurants across the country. We are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team and contribute to the production of our custom-built equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals.
• Fabricate custom smokers and commercial kitchen equipment with a high level of craftsmanship.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and measure components to ensure they meet specifications.
• Work independently to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve fabrication challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in custom fabrication or commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proven experience fabricating complex custom projects with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in working with stainless steel and thin-gauge materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience polishing and finishing stainless steel.
• Familiarity with MIG welding or other welding techniques.
• Welding certifications or technical training.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
