Location: Sunnyvale, TX
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Overtime as needed

Position Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in ensuring that fabricated and assembled equipment meets engineering specifications, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks. This role involves hands-on inspection, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and document fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint operations using company forms.
- Verify welds meet engineering drawings and AWS standards.
- Review and revise quality control documentation as needed.
- Inspect mechanical drives and sub-assemblies for accuracy.
- Write Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to correct drawings or processes.
- Perform final inspections and testing before shipment.
- Maintain inspection records in the QC database.
- Submit weekly reports detailing quality issues, responsible parties, and prevention strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of welding, machining, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual a plus.
Preferred Experience & Education:
- Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Technology (preferred).
- 5+ years in metal fabrication or capital equipment manufacturing.
- Quality certifications (ASQ, ISO, etc.) are a plus.
