Job: Team Lead Fabricator/Welder (MIG/TIG)
Shift:6am-2:30pm M-F
Pay:$26-$28/hr (DOE)
Location: Mesquite, TX
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily welding and fabrication operations. The Team Lead ensures production schedules are met, safety standards are upheld, and quality workmanship is maintained. The role combines technical expertise with team management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of welders and fabricators
- Assign tasks, provide training, and promote a positive team culture
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless and carbon steel
- Interpret blueprints and fabricate parts to precise tolerances
- Maintain safety compliance and a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of welding/fabrication experience
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- High school diploma or GED required; welding certification preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
