Forklift Operator – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Saturday overtime as needed)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a leading company in the Mesquite area. This role requires proficiency in both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, along with solid shipping and receiving experience.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to handle, load, and unload products
- Receive and check in parts accurately
- Pull and stage orders for shipment
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (not forklift-only work)
Requirements:
- OSHA-certified forklift operator (certification within the last year required)
- 3–4 years recent forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down)
- Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving processes
- Experience using RF scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable with reliable transportation
- Must be detail-oriented and safety-focused
- Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
- Solid work history and team-oriented attitude
- Must pass background and drug screening
