Position: Deliver Driver /Warehouse Associate
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $18/hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for making local deliveries using a 26-foot box truck and assisting in warehouse operations during non-delivery periods. The ideal candidate has strong driving experience, a solid work ethic, and a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to complete scheduled deliveries
- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery service to customers
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
- Load, unload, and secure materials for transport
- Assist with warehouse duties when deliveries are not scheduled
- Perform basic math calculations related to orders, inventory, or deliveries
- Cross-train and support other operational tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean driving record and operate vehicles without distractions (no cell phone use while driving)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of box truck driving experience
- At least 1 year of experience driving a 26-foot box truck (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent customer service and professional attitude
- Ability to safely operate vehicles and follow safety protocols
- Willingness to work in the warehouse and cross-train in other areas
- Good basic math skills
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift, load, and unload materials as required
- Combination of driving, warehouse, and outdoor work environments
