Job: Carpentry / Spray Painter (Bilingual Preferred)
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: Starting at $18/hour (Entry Level)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Carpentry & Wood Fabrication Technician to support the construction and finishing of custom builds and event-related equipment. This position works within the carpentry and fabrication area using woodworking machines, hand tools, and finishing equipment to cut, assemble, and prepare materials for production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry or wood fabrication experience and be comfortable working with various shop tools. Experience using a spray gun for painting or finishing materials is highly valuable in this role.
Responsibilities

Operate woodworking equipment including circular saws, band saws, and other shop machinery

Use general hand tools to fabricate, assemble, and modify wood components

Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and layout tools

Apply paint or finishes using a spray gun when required

Assist with building and finishing custom wood pieces for event equipment and displays

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace within the fabrication area

Support production workflow to ensure projects are completed on schedule

Perform basic maintenance and proper handling of shop tools and equipment
Skills & Requirements

Previous carpentry, woodworking, or wood fabrication experience preferred

Strong ability to read and measure accurately using a tape measure

Experience operating shop tools such as circular saws, band saws, and general hand tools

Spray gun painting or finishing experience is highly preferred

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Ability to lift materials and work in a hands-on production environment
