Title: CDL-A Driver
Pay: $18-$20/hr
Location: Balch Springs, TX
We have an immediate need for a CDL-A Flatbed Tractor Trailer/Local to join our team! This is a Temp-Perm opportunity. You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000+ pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Pay: $18-$20/hr per hour DOE 6:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday with OT as necessary and Saturday's as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and strap down load securely for delivery
- Unload cargo with assistance at drop off
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Send in invoices after load is delivered
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (3 yrs.) in truck driving
- 3+ years of flatbed
- Commercial driver's license (current CDL Class A)
- Ability to handle physical workload (lifting up to 50 pounds)
- Strong work ethic
- Must have updated DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- A background and Drug Screen will be administered
