CDL-A Flatbed Driver (Local) – Piggyback Forklift Experience Preferred

Pay: $18–$20 per hour (DOE) + Overtime
Location: Balch Springs, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT and Saturdays as needed)

Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a CDL-A Flatbed Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team in Balch Springs. This is a local, home-daily position offering steady hours and long-term potential.

The ideal candidate will have strong flatbed experience and hands-on experience operating a piggyback (Moffett) forklift for efficient on-site deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed tractor-trailer (26,000+ GVW) in a local route environment
• Operate a piggyback (Moffett) forklift to load/unload materials at delivery sites
• Secure loads using straps, chains, and proper tie-down techniques
• Ensure safe and accurate delivery of materials to customer locations
• Inspect vehicle and equipment before and after each trip (DVIR compliance)
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and invoices
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or issues
• Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license (required)
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable truck driving experience
• At least 3 years of flatbed experience required
• Piggyback (Moffett) forklift experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable, dependable, and professional work ethic
