Job Title: Call Center Associate
Location: Mesquite, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; every other Saturday
Pay: $16/hour
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused Call Center Associate to join a fast-paced team supporting a well-established home improvement and flooring company. This role blends customer service with sales, offering the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism and care
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve inquiries
- Troubleshoot order issues and coordinate with warehouse staff to resolve delivery or product concerns
- Identify and act on opportunities for upselling or add-on sales
- Meet or exceed call center performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Support additional administrative or operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow into a leadership role
- Sales-minded with the ability to recognize customer needs and offer relevant solutions
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
