Production Machine Operator / General Labor – 2nd Shift
Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
We are hiring a dependable Production Machine Operator / General Laborer to join a growing manufacturing operation in Mesquite. This position supports the production and packaging of specialty products and will involve operating and monitoring production equipment, handling materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment.
- Load raw materials and supplies into production machinery.
- Monitor equipment during production to ensure proper operation.
- Package, label, stack, and prepare finished products.
- Perform basic quality checks on products and packaging.
- Follow production instructions and established procedures.
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments as trained.
- Keep machines and surrounding production areas clean and organized.
- Move materials and finished products throughout the work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
- Report equipment problems or product quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with other general production and warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating, or general labor experience preferred.
- Comfortable working around and operating production machinery.
- Mechanically inclined and able to learn basic machine operation.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Able to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Willing to follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

The right person does not necessarily need extensive machine operating experience but should be comfortable in a manufacturing environment, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn production equipment.
