Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shipping Operator position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Assist drivers with lining up and laying pipe.
- Measure, cut, and prepare wood for stulling or bracing pipes.
- Operate equipment as needed, including forklifts, table saws, hydraulic jacks, chain saws, grinders, and nail guns.
- Perform heavy lifting and general labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Conduct daily inspections and follow project instructions precisely.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Ability to read and write effectively and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Experience reading a tape measure and operating basic machinery.
- Physically able to lift 25–75 pounds and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and extended walking or standing.
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Background in general labor, construction, or other physically demanding work.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
