Are you a skilled technician looking to make a difference in the natural gas industry? We're seeking a passionate Field Service Technician to develop and maintain strong relationships with our natural gas-producing customers in your territory. If you’re ready to provide exceptional technical support and ensure customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Maximize customer runtime reliability and ensure mechanical availability.
- Install, commission, maintain, service, troubleshoot, and remove rental fleet compressor packages.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for compressor packages.
- Build positive working relationships with customers by understanding their requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on high-pressure gas lift compressor packages.
- Inspect compressors, control systems, and engines using diagnostic tools to identify and prevent potential issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and surrounding areas.
- Respond to and diagnose engine, compressor, and control system failures.
- Manage an inventory of necessary parts and tools for efficient customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2-5 years in maintaining natural gas compression equipment, including engines and compressors. Ability to interpret performance runs and calculate engine horsepower and gas volumes.
- Education: High School diploma (Technical training in Mechanical Systems or related field preferred).
- Certifications: Compliance Controls AFRC, Cummins Service Training, Compressor Valves (preferred).
- Skills: Detail-oriented, innovative, and a strong team player.
