Are you an experienced Heavy Duty Forklift Mechanic? We want you! Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing high-capacity forklifts (36K and above), ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment for optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with warehouse management for timely shipping and receiving of equipment parts.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking of parts.
- Operate clamp trucks and other materials handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards during all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment/Forklift Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferred).
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of materials handling practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Certification in heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
- Experience with order picking and warehouse supervision is beneficial.
