Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions alongside mining engineers and team members.
- Install and set up new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Replace or blow out air filters as needed.
- Operate a variety of tools and maintenance equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Stay up to date on mining equipment and technology advancements.
- Be available for emergency on-call situations.
