Job Title: Shielding Assembler – First Shift
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday weekends as needed

Position Overview
An established manufacturer of acoustic testing enclosures is seeking a dependable and physically capable Shielding Assembler to join its first-shift production team. This role plays a key part in assembling and finishing components that support the performance testing of telecommunications equipment.
Ideal candidates will have experience in hands-on assembly, an eye for detail, and the physical strength to handle moderate to heavy lifting throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and bond acoustic panels using adhesives and lamination techniques.
- Clean and prepare heated components by shaking off debris as needed.
- Build and install various-sized doors that attach to acoustic testing chambers.
- Laminate wall materials and prepare internal surfaces for final assembly.
- Accurately measure materials using a tape measure to ensure proper fit.
- Use small hand tools and power tools for cutting, drilling, and fastening.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and production guidelines at all times.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to stand, bend, and move continuously throughout an 8–10-hour shift.
- Regularly lift and carry 50–100 lbs. independently.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with adhesives, tools, and large parts.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tape measures, blueprints, and general assembly tools.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly on an assembly line, is a plus.
- Experience with gluing, lamination, and/or soldering (non-electronics) is helpful.
