Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a fast-growing and family-oriented frozen dessert company in Round Rock to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager. Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Hours of Operation: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, Friday & Saturday 11:00 am to 12:00 am (must be available for a 40 hour per week schedule)
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep operations running smoothly
· Deliver legendary customer service by modeling a “customer comes first” attitude and setting high service standards for the team
· Assist in new employee onboarding and training using positive reinforcement and hands-on guidance
· Create a positive and supportive learning environment by giving clear, timely, and respectful feedback to all team members
· Build and maintain positive relationships with shift teams to foster trust, collaboration, and team morale
· Organize and execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including completing and overseeing store opening and closing duties
· Enforce and model company policies and procedures, including food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
· Utilize operational tools and systems to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards
· Support inventory management, scheduling, and team coordination to meet staffing and product needs effectively
· Address customer concerns or operational issues with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach
Qualifications:
· 2–3 years of proven management or leadership experience in the food service industry or a related role
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· A proactive and enthusiastic leadership style that motivates others
