Job Full Description
Are you experienced in concrete work and looking for a solid short-term opportunity? We’re hiring dependable, hands-on workers to assist with a two-month concrete project in Briggs, TX. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing the job right, and is comfortable handling all phases of concrete—from forming and pouring to finishing.
We’re looking for team players who can jump in and get the job done efficiently. If you’re bilingual or fluent in Spanish, that’s a big plus!
Position: Concrete Laborer – Temporary Assignment
Location: Briggs, TX
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 30-minute lunch | Overtime during the week and weekends as needed.
Duration: 2 Months
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist with all stages of concrete work, including forming, pouring, leveling, and finishing
- Work alongside a crew to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
- Operate hand tools, mixers, and other basic construction equipment as needed
- Follow instructions from the site supervisor and stay on schedule
- Help with site setup, cleanup, and maintaining a safe work area
- Follow all safety protocols and dress code guidelines on site
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in all phases of concrete is required
- Ability to follow verbal directions and work well in a team setting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full 2-month duration
- Comfortable working outdoors and in warm weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry materials, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Bilingual or Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
